Cookie Policy
A clear overview of how FantasyLeague uses cookies and similar technologies — and how you can control them.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you do not have to re-enter it on every page.
How they work
Cookies are set by your browser and read by our site on return visits.
Your privacy
Cookies cannot read other files on your device or install software.
We also refer to similar technologies such as local storage, which browsers use to save preferences on your device.
How we use cookies
Minimal, purpose-driven use
FantasyLeague uses cookies primarily for authentication and security. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics tracking cookies.
When you use FantasyLeague, cookies and similar technologies help us:
- Keep you signed in securely across pages
- Protect your account against CSRF and session attacks
- Remember interface preferences such as theme
- Support sign-in with Google when you choose that option
For broader data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for login, security, and core platform features. These cannot be disabled if you want to use your account.
- Session cookies (e.g. next-auth session token)
- CSRF protection tokens
- Secure authentication state
Preferences
Remember choices such as theme (light/dark). We may use local storage or similar browser storage for these settings.
- Theme preference (light / dark mode)
- UI preferences that improve your experience
What we do not use
FantasyLeague does not use advertising, marketing, or third-party analytics tracking cookies on the platform today.
- No ad or retargeting cookies
- No social media pixel tracking
- No third-party analytics cookies
Google sign-in: If you authenticate with Google, Google may set its own cookies during the login flow. Those are governed by Google's policies, not this one.
Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using account features. Clearing cookies will sign you out.
